On the one hand, human-centered research methods should assist engineering designers in problem definition, solution generation, decision-making and evaluation aligned to the users. On the other hand, different research logics and approaches of problem solving can be an obstacle to the application of methods from other disciplines. The article presents a terminology aimed at supporting interdisciplinary understanding of methods and its underlying conceptualizations.||Conference:||2nd International Conference on Human Systems Engineering and Design: Future Trends and Applications, IHSED 2019; Munich; Germany||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/11420/3696||ISBN:||978-303027927-1||ISSN:||2194-5365||Institute:||Produktentwicklung und Konstruktionstechnik M-17||Type:||InProceedings (Aufsatz / Paper einer Konferenz etc.)|
