New digital technologies promise potentials to enable new ways of learning and support individual learning processes to prepare learners for an increasingly digitalised living and working environment. Teacher education is asked in all phases to support prospective and experienced teachers in raising awareness for contemporary forms of teaching with digital possibilities. This practical guide elaborates on proven application scenarios in German university teacher education, how the digital.learning.lab can be further embedded in teacher education as an open platform for the development of teaching concepts in the digital age.
