We introduce a new tool for the analysis of robust stability and simultaneous stabilizability questions. By a single approach we derive limits for controller parameters in low-order synthesis schemes as well as constraints for unit interpolation problems. Especially, we answer a question by Vijay V. Patel on stabilization of three special systems.
