The Institute for Structural Analysis conducts basic research in the field of computational methods of non-linear structural mechanics. The scientific work is interdisciplinary and primarily methodically oriented. The focus is on the finite element method, innovative design and simulation methods, stability problems, non-linear dynamics and applications of artificial intelligence in structural mechanics.
