In order to prevent animal test for the training in interventional radiology this project implements a 3D model of an intracranial aneurysm including all relevant periphery allowing radiologists to practice coiling under realistic condition. The Institute of Microsystems Technology developes the measurement technique. By the use of waveguides the load on the wall of the aneurysm as well as the force during infeeding of the coil are measured.
