Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , Integration von smarten Handwerkzeugen und digitalen Assistenzsystemen(2026); This dissertation develops a concept for integrating smart hand tools and digital assistance systems to improve assembly processes for complex and highly variant products. Using aircraft manufacturing as an example, the concept shows how information efforts and process errors can be reduced and how aviation-compliant documentation can be simplified. A four-stage integration approach combines tools and assistance systems within a software platform. Laboratory studies demonstrate increased productivity and quality as well as high user acceptance. Practical investigations highlight the concept's transferability to other industries.Publicationtype: Doctoral Thesis123 54 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , Nutzung von Motion-Capture-Technologien zur individuellen Ergonomieanalyse in der Produktion(2023); Musculoskeletal disorders are the main cause of sick leave in the manufacturing sector. One reason for this is that companies do not sufficiently consider the individual characteristics and capabilities of employees when designing their work. This dissertation presents a method for an individual ergonomics analysis in manufacturing. The method records worker capabilities and the individual strain at the workplace with the help of a motion capture system. The individual assessment helps companies find targeted workplace improvement measures.Publicationtype: Doctoral Thesis142 356 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , Eine Methode zur Bewertung von Anlaufrisiken in der Produktentwicklung für die FlugzeugindustrieIn this thesis a methodical support for early identification and minimization of ramp-up risks with the help of response strategies is developed. Therefore the approach is divided into two main phases and focusing on the support of the product development until the transition to production. Within the first phase the identification of potential risk areas will be conducted based on a new impact model. During the second main phase the identified areas will be analyzed within a detailed risk analysis. Basis for the analysis is a Monte-Carlo-Simulation. The response strategies for reduction of ramp-up risks are derived from a generic measures matrix. To validate the method, a case study for a new aircraft cabin lining is conducted.Publicationtype: Doctoral Thesis1101 1980
