The practice-oriented analysis has revealed findings on different laser measuring devices and insights about aspects of precision and localization of mobile robots. By testing the sensor technologies, differences in localization accuracy have been determined. Since laser scanners will increasingly be used in the planning, execution, and operation phases of buildings, the case study provides essential insights into positioning of mobile elements.Publicationtype: Research Report157 325
