Corrosion tests on cement mortars with stationary and transient conditions were carried out. In further tests, the changes of porosity and pore structure, as well as the related effects on the mass transport processes were investigated. Furthermore, simulation calculations with Transreac were conducted. To improve the calculation of transport processes different pore structure models were applied to experimentally determined data. Finally, a new model is presented which describes the pore structure changes due to corrosion processes.
