The manufacture of aircraft cabin interiors is facing a steady increase in conflicting requirements on productivity and individuality. In this context, honeycomb potting is a key technology to achieve an automated while flexible process chain. Based on scientific process analysis, an an optimized, automated potting process is developed. The practical validation shows its effectiveness in regard to quality, robustness, and flexibilty.
