Abstract (german): Eisen(II)-Ionen bilden mit 1,10-Phenantrolin einen wasserlöslichen, roten Komplex, dessen Farbintensität bei 510 nm im Photometer gemessen wird. Nicht in Form von Eisen(II)-Ionen vorliegendes Eisen wird durch Reduktion mittels Hydroxylammoniumchlorid in Eisen(II)-Ionen überführt. Die Auswertung erfolgt über eine externe Kalibrierkurve, das Ergebnis wird in mg/L angegeben.
Abstract (english): Determination of Fe (II) is carried out by means of 1,10-phenanthroline taking advantage of the fact that Fe (II) forms a water soluble red complex with 1,10-phenanthroline. The intensity of the coloured species is measured by a photometer. The concentration in samples is quantified with an external calibration and results are reported in mg/l.
