Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Chances of smart Views: Integration of Stakeholder perspectives using videobased Views in MBSE(Fraunhofer IAO, 2025-05-22); ; ;Bernijazov, Ruslan; The effective integration of stakeholders plays a central role in the success of product development. In Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), access to information for stakeholders without MBSE experience is made more difficult by a formalized, abstract presentation, thus reducing the integration potential for stakeholders. The concept of view formation with views and perspectives exists in MBSE to support stakeholders. There are also new, smart forms of representation in the literature that support stakeholder integration without formalized diagrams. The intuitive readability of such smart views has not yet been analyzed. The aim of this thesis is to investigate intuitively readable forms of presentation and smart visualizations as well as their possible design. In addition, the positive influence of such visualizations - in the form of a video - on the system understanding of stakeholders is analyzed in comparison to conventional, diagram-based representations. The laboratory study shows that the use of a smart view improves system understanding while reducing the time required.Publicationtype: Conference Paper80 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Future-proof system generation development in variant-oriented sheet metal construction using the example of the CEP shuttle intermediate frameThe world and its product requirements are constantly changing, making long-term success possible only through innovation. Product programs with a wide variety of variants lead to high complexity costs. To manage this complexity, modular product architectures are used to achieve diversity with reduced variance. Foresight methods support the anticipation of future developments in product development. However, sheet metal design has so far received little attention in this context. To address this, a framework has been developed that integrates sheet metal design, the system generation development model, foresight, and modular product structuring. The aim is to help companies become future-ready and resilient. This framework was evaluated using the KEP shuttle subframe of the KRONE Group. A reference system is used to derive current product properties and anticipate future ones. A development roadmap defines external variety and aims at creating innovative and robust products. Diverse design is integrated into the next product generation through principle, carryover, and attribute variations.Publicationtype: Conference Paper69 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Effective nudging in product development - workshop concept to increase innovation capabilityThis study presents a training concept that enables product development teams to apply the behavioural science concept of ‘nudging’ in their processes in a targeted manner. The focus is on imparting knowledge and practical skills in order to optimize decision-making architectures and increase the innovative capacity of teams. The workshop combines theoretical principles with interactive exercises, supported by creative elements such as a specially developed nudging card game. The results show that the participants developed a sound understanding of nudging and were able to successfully put the techniques they learnt into practice. The concept contributes to improved decision-making processes, more efficient collaboration and a motivating working atmosphere, thus offering a valuable approach to further training in product development.Publicationtype: Conference Paper185
