Simulated Lagrangian trajectory data in a lab-scaled stirred tank reactor
    (2026-04-14)
This MATLAB data file contains the Lagrangian trajectory data of in total 502775 particles in a lab-scale stirred tank reactor with a volume of 2.8 L and a stirrer frequency is 252 rpm. The time over which the data reaches equals the time necessary for ten stirrer revolutions, hence 2.38 s, starting at 60 s after initialisation of the process. The time difference between two data points is 0.01 s. For a detailed description of the system, please refer to the publication Weiland, C.; Steuwe, E.; Fitschen, J.; Hoffmann, M.; Schlüter, M.; Padberg-Gehle, K.; von Kameke, A. (2023). Python Scripts for: The Steam Barrier as a Design Constraint in Carbon Capture: Pathways to Low-Temperature Regeneration
    (2026-06-16)
The Python scripts accompannying the publication: The steam barrier as a design constraint in carbon capture: pathways to low-temperature regeneration, submitted to Chemical Engineering and Processing - Process Intensification is presented here. The following scripts are included: Davies.py - it calculates the chemical and gas-liquid equilibrium using the semi-empirical Davies activity coefficient model. Debye_Hückel.py - it calculates the chemical and gas-liquid equilibrium using the Debye Hückel activity coefficient model. Ideal.py - it calculates the chemical and gas-liquid equilibrium assuming an ideal liquid phase. contour_creation.py - iterates accross different parameter values to create the contour plots of Figure 4 in the main article. water_exergy_vs_T_vs_p.py - performs the exergy calculations.
