Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Activity and stability of immobilised soybean lipoxygenase-1 in aqueous and supercritical carbon dioxide media(Springer, 2000-11); ; ;Overmeyer, André; Kasche, VolkerThe activity of immobilised soybean lipoxygenase-1 (LOX-1) was studied in aqueous and supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) media for the production of 13S-hydroperoxyoctadecadenoic acid (13S-HPODE). In SCCO2, it was optimal at 33 °C and 25 MPa. A higher space-time yield of 5.7 x 10-3 Ms-1 mg-1 LOX-1 for 13S-HPODE was obtained in SCCO2 compared to only 5 x 10-5 Ms-1 mg-1 LOX-1 in aqueous medium. The stability of immobilised LOX-1 was only significantly affected by the pressurisation and depressurisation steps during reactions in SCCO2.Publicationtype: Journal Article7 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Vapour‐liquid and vapour‐liquid‐liquid equilibria in ternary and quaternary systems of n‐hexadecane, benzene, water and hydrogen, at elevated temperatures and pressuresPhase equilibria in the n‐hexadecane‐water‐hydrogen and n‐hexadecane‐benzene‐water‐hydrogen systems were determined experimentally at temperatures between 200 and 350°C and pressures between 100 and 300 bar. At high water concentrations, three‐phase equilibria were observed. Two‐phase regions could be correlated with a modified Redlich‐Kwong equation of state. The influence of interaction parameters on the calculated miscibility gaps was investigated. On application of mean interaction parameters, it is possible to calculate phase equilibria at different pressures or temperatures with the same set of parameters. In the ternary system, the three‐phase regions could be calculated from the correlated binodal curves of two‐phase regions. In the quaternary system, cross‐sections through the vapour‐liquid miscibility gap could be successfully correlated.Publicationtype: Journal Article17 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Phase equilibria in ternary and quaternary systems of hydrogen, water and hydrocarbons at elevated temperatures and pressuresVLE and VLLE for ternary mixtures of hydrogen-water-hexadecane, hydrogen-water-benzene, hydrogen-benzene-hexadecane and the quaternary hydrogen-water-benzene-hexadecane system were experimentally determined at temperatures of 200 to 350°C and pressures up to 300 bar. The applied experimental procedure is based on the analytical method. A 1000-cm3 autoclave with an electromagnetically driven stirrer was used for equilibration. Samples could be taken at three different heights. Experimental results show that at lower temperatures three-phase equilibria prevail, while at higher temperatures two-phase VLE are more common. For the representation of the experimental data a special graphic program for a Hewlett-Packard microcomputer was developed. With a modified Redlich-Kwong equation of state some of the measured systems could be correlated successfully. © 1986.Publicationtype: Journal Article36
