Against the backdrop of applications that have so far been limited in scope but are becoming increasingly widespread, it presents specific examples from construction technology and wood technology, as well as from colour technology, interior design and surface technology. Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , Vom Normenordner zum beruflichen KI-Assistenten – Technische Regelwerke im Zeitalter generativer KITechnical standards constitute a fundamental basis for professional practice in the construction industry. Generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems are transforming access to these standards and the development of normative professional knowledge. This paper examines the potential and limitations of AI-supported applications for facilitating access to the content of technical standards in vocational work and learning. It also demonstrates that AI-generated responses must be critically evaluated with regard to their technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
