Publicationtype: Journal Article43 33 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Fahrfremde Tätigkeiten in schweren Güterkraftfahrzeugen - Was tun Berufskraftfahrende beim Automatisierten Fahren? Eine explorative Stakeholderbefragung zur Ausübung fahrfremder Tätigkeiten(Trialog Publishers Verlagsgesellschaft, 2022-09); ; ; ; In the future, automated driving at SAE Level 4 will enable drivers to perform non-driving related activities (NDRA), as they will be able to turn their backs on traffic. In the future, the driver's cabin could be used as a "mobile office," for example. In addition to efficiency and cost benefits, this could also increase the attractiveness of the occupation of a professional driver. Findings from exploratory interviews with various stakeholders (HMI, road safety, OEM, logistics service providers and professional drivers) provide initial assessments of the potential benefits from exercising NDRA during automated driving at SAE Level 4 in heavy freight vehicles. From today's perspective, the benefits are seen primarily in a legalization of mostly private NDRA already performed today. The potential for shifting simple dispositive activities is shrinking due to increasing digitization in logistics.Publicationtype: Journal Article88 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: without files , Ökonomische Analyse eines kombinierten Personen- und Gütertransportes - Verbindung von Transportroboter und Shuttle für eine autonome Transportlösung(Trialog Publishers Verlagsgesellschaft, 2022-05); ; ; Passenger and freight transport are usually considered and designed separately. Recently, the search for innovative transport and vehicle technologies has intensified due to the growing shortage of drivers and the increasing economic and ecological demands on transport efficiency. One approach is the combined transport of passengers and goods. With the help of a process analysis and a total cost of ownership calculation, the article examines the economic benefit of a transport robot travelling in an autonomous shuttle. It can be shown that the use of a combined driverless passenger and goods transport can lead to cost savings. However, it must be taken into account that an economic use case only arises when both the shuttle and the transport robot can move without an attendant and robots are available on the market at lower prices.Publicationtype: Journal Article167 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , On-Demand-Angebote als Bestandteil des ÖPNV : Nutzungsmuster und Auswirkungen auf die Verkehrsmittelentscheidung in einem Hamburger Stadtrandgebiet(Trialog Publishers Verlagsgesellschaft, 2021-09-01); ; The on-demand ridepooling service “ioki Hamburg”, which is integrated into the classic public transit system, has been in operation on the northwestern outskirts of Hamburg since 2018. This article provides findings from a scientific evaluation of this service, conducted from 2018 to 2020. The results show that this ondemand ridepooling service is an impactful pre- and post-trip complement for public transit. Moreover, the effects of a so-called convenience surcharge, which has been levied for ridepooling use since April 2019, were investigated. This surcharge led, among other things, to a strengthening of the service as an alternative to car use.Publicationtype: Journal Article1210 1799 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Access status: with files , Dezentrale Mobilitätsstationen in urbanen Wohnquartieren : Auswirkungen auf den PKW-Besitz von Carsharing-NutzendenCarsharing services contribute to reducing private car ownership. Mobility hubs that are integrated into the public street space of densely populated residential neighborhoods, are equipped with reserved parking spaces for carsharing vehicles and considered a promising approach to strengthen carsharing and its effect on car ownership. Using the hvv switch-Punkte in Hamburg as an example, this article shows, by means of a representative survey of carsharing users, that conveniently located mobility hubs can considerably increase the impact of carsharing on car ownership.Publicationtype: Journal Article1199 1109
